Synopsis

De achtjarige William slijt zijn dagen in eenzaamheid in het landhuis van zijn steenrijke ouders. Hij is gewend alles te krijgen wat hij maar wil, en vraagt als kerstcadeau niets minder dan de Kerstman zelf. De vader van William wil de wens van zijn zoon inwilligen en neemt een vermaard jager onder de arm. De gewetenloze huurling zet een val uit voor zijn bijzondere prooi. Zal de ondoordachte wens van William een eind maken aan de magie van kerst?

William, eight years old, is used to getting anything he wants. He demands Santa himself as his Christmas present, so her father hires a famous hunter. Will William’s rash demand bring an end to the magic of Christmas?

Synopsis
After having burnt all her bridges within in the metropolitan police, Anita, a young female detective is forced to leave Reykjavik.The only post available is in her childhood village, an ugly oasis, sitting in the middle of an endless desert of black sand, where she has to face her abusive mother for the first time in 10 years. Although her first case initially seems to be an accident, i.e. when a dead tourist is found on the Black Beach, it sends her on a dark journey into the past, unravelling a serial killer that has been operating for years, disguising his murders as accidents. After a surviving witness from one of the attacks describes the killer as a female police officer, Anita realises that the killer could be a lot closer than she thought.

Synopsis
A couple floats in the middle of the ocean on a log. Jeremy, an insecure young man with a mother complex, makes the trip more difficult by his absent-minded and awkward behavior. Aurora, a brisk and bossy young woman, is tired of dragging Jeremy along with her and wants to the trip to be over as soon as possible. When Aurora’s leg gets badly injured during a fight with a shark, it looks like they won’t make it across. Their bloody journey across the ocean will require them to not only cross the water, but also the distance between them.

Synopsis

Synopsis

STATE OF HAPPINESS is a TV drama series that tells the story of Western prosperity, a changing nation, a Klondike town, and four young people who are thrown into a whirlwind of opportunites. Everything is moving, everything is new, it´s a great, big, at times scary, unknown. How are they all going to deal with it?

The second season of STATE OF HAPPINESS stretches from 1977 to 1980. The era of great disasters. Well 14 at Ekofisk Bravo is blowing out and a massive oil sheet creeps over the ocean, heading for the Klondike fishing bank. ”Environment Politics” is put on the agenda for the first time. ”Safety” is to follow, when in 1980 the hotel platform Aleksander Kielland capsizes and 123 people die, trapped inside. This is also the time when people start to make money, and as we shall see, some more than they can handle.

A story about how people deal with opportunities and change, both on a political and personal level – set in the first years of the oil boom in western Norway.

Synopsis
Ella is a spider fairy. She lives with her best friend Spider in Branch City, a busy forest that looks a bit like a metropolis. Ella has a magic wand that she can use to draw spider webs. But she can’t do it on her own, she needs Spiders help for that! The two are inseparable – literally because they are connected by a spider thread – until the moment Ella and Spider each want to draw a different picture. They’re both stubborn and get so angry with each other that they turn their backs on each other. The spider thread breaks in two. Ella and Spider each go their separate ways and make spider wire drawings on their own, but this doesn’t work out too well. Ella becomes frustrated. To make matters worse, her magic wand goes haywire. It doesn’t take long before Branch City becomes a jumble of knots. Ella wants to clean up the tangled mess and starts rolling up a ball of spider wire, but this is a big chore… Meanwhile, Spider has started the pursuit of the runaway wand. He jumps on it, manages to get the wand under control and steers it towards Ella. Spider and Ella are reunited on top of a huge spinning wire ball. Hooray – Branch City has been cleaned up!
