Synopsis

Klara Walldéen and her ex-boyfriend, Mahmoud Shammosh, flee from Brussels to Stockholm while being chased by secret agents of MI6. At the same time, an old SIS agent, Douglas Marlowe, learns that he is Klara’s father and will try to help her.

During the trip, Klara and Douglas will see the question marks from their past answered. They learn that the truth is more multifaceted than it first appears and that it is never too late to set life on a new course.

Synopsis

Anna Dubois (43) works as a night nurse in a hospital. She is divorced and has a son Lou (8). Due to a severe postnatal depression a few months after his birth, she developed dark thoughts and left her baby on the edge of the highway during a severe psychosis. A forced period in psychiatry followed, the deathblow to her perfect life.

She lost everything: her job, her marriage and the custody of her son, whom she sees only every two weeks (under supervision). Anna still struggles with the raw lonely aftermath. She leads a nocturnal life, alternately seeking solitude and kicks.

Synopsis

11-year-old Lucien lives with his mother Cécile, his older brother Mattéo and dog Sheitan in a remote village in the Ardennes. He is withdrawn and avoids people. He only has contact with Lies, his only friend, and her father, who runs a small sawmill in the village.

Lucien never talks about his father, the most hated man in the country. For the past two years, Lucien has done everything in his power to forget him.

Everything changes when Lucien’s grandmother dies and his father is allowed to attend the funeral, handcuffed and protected by the police from popular anger. Synopsis
Milano is an eleven year old boy who cannot talk but can hear and has to express himself using sign language. He is raised by his father who grew up in an institution and therefore doesn’t really know how to raise a young child. They live in a social housing estate and try to make the best of it by trial and error. When Milano is home by himself, he can go to Renée, a wealthy woman from the neighboring residential area who seems to have everything in order. Then his mother suddenly returns from her long absence, and nothing is the same anymore.
